Planit Consulting Ltd is a planning consultancy based in Surrey that was set up in 2006 by its founder Janet Long, to provide specialist planning advice. Planit provides a range of services from pre-application advice to submitting planning applications, to detailed site appraisals showing the client the art of the possible. Our strength is being strategists, as very often the planning process requires you to think outside the box. We pride ourselves on being successful; on 4 occasions now gaining planning permission for ‘para 80’ houses of exceptional design in sensitive countryside locations. Most of our work is with private clients but we also act on behalf of several Local Planning Authorities undertaking appeal work for them. Geographically we cover work in the Surrey, Sussex, and Hampshire Authorities, but we also work further afield depending on the particular circumstances of the projects.
