Define advises both public and private sector clients in respect of the planning, assessment and design of the built environment. We seek to meet the ambitions and expectations of the client body through the promotion and creation of inspirational places to live and work.

In short we:

• Plan, direct, promote and manage development through the planning system, providing cogent and robust strategy advice and a focus for key stakeholder negotiations;
• Design streets, spaces and landscapes within the urban environment, and influence the form of built development through the preparation of development masterplans and codes; and
• Assess development through the iterative environmental impact assessment process, with a specialism in landscape and visual assessment, urban design audits and socio-economic assessments.
