I am delighted to introduce the RTPI Directory of Planning Consultants 2010

With a range of different individuals and organisations offering planning services, it is vital that you receive the right professional planning advice. This directory lists over 500 planning consultants with expertise in all areas of town and country planning. They are all members of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)

Why it's important to choose an member of the RTPI

RTPI members are professionally qualified planners who must demonstrate a high level of planning education together with appropriate experience to become Chartered Town Planners. They continue to update their knowledge and competence throughout their working life, giving you the confidence that you are getting the very best advice and service. For added consumer protection, professional planning consultants follow a strict code of professional conduct and are required to hold professional indemnity insurance.

When you employ an RTPI member as a consultant, you are employing a highly skilled and competent planner. Your consultant will be up to date with the latest planning regulations and good practice in the field and will be able to navigate through the complexities of the planning system..
