The practice, established in 1984, has three offices at Bourne End, Buckinghamshire, Knutsford, Cheshire and Bristol, Somerset. The practice works throughout England, Scotland and Wales acting, on a long term basis, for major national companies across a wide spectrum of residential, retail, leisure, commercial and industrial sectors. All the work that comes to the practice is through recommendation or repeat instructions from existing clients. We submit planning, listed building and the full range of related applications on behalf of clients on all aspects of development. We report on potential acquisitions involving advice on the likelihood of gaining permission for development, the submission of planning applications and the prosecution of appeals. We also provide due diligence reports and advise on estate and land issues, particularly in terms of the enhancement and added value through alternative development. We are involved with the longer-term identification and release of land for housing, commercial, retail, leisure and industrial purposes through the Development Plan process. This includes negotiations and advice with regard to the Plan procedures including attendance at Inquiries as expert witnesses. We are involved in negotiating S106 Agreements relating to planning gain. We work in association with a full range of other professionals including architects, designers, highways and other specialist engineers, working closely with clients and their consultants, to achieve the best result for every client.
