Rapleys, established in 1951, is an independent partnership of property and planning consultants. The practice offers a comprehensive range of services, including agency, valuation, investment, development, planning, rating, management and building surveying advice.

The practice has six offices located in Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Huntingdon, London and Manchester. The practice employs approximately 160 staff, including 39 partners.

Town Planning Department

The department was established in 1980. It is one of the United Kingdom's leading planning consultancies.

It comprises approximately 30 town planners, supported by both secretarial and technical staff. The department operates from the partnership's London, Manchester, Bristol and Edinburgh offices.

The department offers a full range of planning consultancy services throughout the United Kingdom, with particular expertise in retail, housing, motor trade/roadside and leisure planning and mixed-use development, for both private and public sector clients, as either a sole advisor or part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.
