Peter Court Associates was established in 2011. The company provides a range of planning and development services, based upon over 35 years of experience within both the public and private sector. It has established a varied client base, ranging from major house building companies to private landowners and individuals.

Main Planning Services

Promotion of land for development through the Local Plan process; planning applications; Written Representation Appeals; attendance at Hearings and Inquiries; preparing instructions for barristers; enforcement cases, political lobbying and promotional work, acting for local residents.

Examples of Recent Projects

Successfully achieving planning permission for residential development on un-allocated land on periphery of settlements in Kent and Essex. These included sites at Lenham and Sutton Valence in the Borough of Maidstone and where costs were awarded against the Council. A site at Biddenden (in Ashford Borough) for 45 dwellings was successfully achieved and now under construction. Success in achieving conversion of a public house and several barn conversions to residential.

Attendance as witness at Local Plan Inquiries.

Advising clients on option agreements.

Introduction of sites to house building companies.

Acting as agent in land transactions.

Promotion of land through Local Plan representations.
