I act for landowners, farmers, householders, property developers and local authorities. I advise on and prepare applications for planning permission and certificates of lawfulness, planning and enforcement appeals and local plan representations.

I regularly advise farmers and other rural landowners on schemes of rural diversification including the conversion and redevelopment of buildings to leisure, business and residential use.

I prepare many planning applications for agricultural buildings on farms and glasshouses on horticultural nurseries, throughout East Anglia.

Establishing the lawfulness of unauthorised development makes up about 15% of my current instructions. These range from caravans and dwellings to large businesses and complex changes of use.

I deal with many applications and appeals for new housing, commercial and mixed use development and I promote housing, commercial and mixed use land allocations through local plans on behalf of developers on a regular basis.

Current instructions are in Epping Forest, Chelmsford, Uttlesford, Braintree, Brentwood, Maldon, Basildon, Redbridge, Newham, Waltham Forest and St Albans.
