‘Can’t my architect just do this?’

Planning is a specialist area and of all of our team our professionally qualified with a detailed understanding of the field. Whilst some architects may have experience dealing with difficult planning applications; interpreting planning policies, local plans and planning law, and negotiating with the Local Authority etc is not their day job. If your project may be at all controversial or complicated, we are worth the investment.

In the first instance, our advice is particularly important when trying to weigh up whether a potential plot is worth buying or a project worth proceeding with. This is an important skill set we possess; By providing you with a Feasibility Study from the outset, we can save you from buying a property or spending architect’s fees on a project with no reasonable prospect of success.
