Peter Horridge has over 40 years practical experience in the planning profession: in local government at county and district council level, in private practice, and overseas. He has been a partner and now director in the practice since 1986. He has extensive experience in the development control aspects of planning, and has given expert evidence on planning matters to numerous Hearings, Inquiries and Courts of Law. He has also served on several Committees of both the RICS and RTPI and in office in the RICS as chairman of the West Midlands Planning and Development Division.
Keith Williams has been employed in town and country planning since 1970 and has held positions in both the public and private sectors. Between 1970 and 1983 he worked in local government for County and District Planning Authorities. In 1983, he joined a leading commercial and industrial development company, where his responsibilities included the identification appraisal and successful completion of development opportunities, particularly for shopping, together with related town planning matters. He has been a partner and now Director of the practice since 1986. He has acted for a wide number of private and public clients dealing with all aspects of planning.
Andrew Murphy had 9 years experience in local government working for 3 local authorities in development control and enforcement, prior to joining Stansgate Planning in 2003. He has acted for a range of clients on a wide variety of planning matters.
Liz Nicholson joined Stansgate Planning at the beginning of 2016 , having worked in both urban and rural local government development management teams for 18 years. For the 8 years prior to joining Stansgate Planning she was the Planning Manager leading the applications and appeals team at Stratford-on-Avon District Council. She has significant experience in translating policy/housing issues into development management decision-making and appeals preparation for all scales of development, as well as working with Councillors, Parish Councils and other community representatives.
Miranda Rogers worked for 3 years in the housebuilding industry, dealing with land buying and planning matters, prior to joining Stansgate Planning in 2001. As Principal Planner, she acts on a wide variety of matters relating to town and country planning.
Rachel Best has over 20 years experience in planning, in local authority development control, private practice and with a number of private housebuilders before joining Stansgate Planning as Principal Planner in 2009.
