Justin graduated from Bristol Polytechnic and the Universite de Tours in 1992 and started his career cutting his teeth training under one of the “Godfathers” of modern town planning (Anthony Goss) providing master planning and early retail impact advice to clients across the UK from offices in Milton Keynes and London.
This led onto obtaining six years of “coalface planning” experience in Local Government development control and policy teams at Winchester, Shrewsbury and Chester.
Back into the private sector with BDP Planning in Manchester and then to Savills where he set up the northern planning team before leaving in 2003 to establish his own practice J10 Planning.
His experience within both the Public, Private and Development sectors is extensive.
His particular strengths include project management skills, co-ordinating multi-disciplinary teams, masterplanning large complicated sites, property review and giving clients incisive and concise strategic advice grounded in commercial realism, whether this be for a small or scale large project
He is astute to the comercial realities of development and his depth and breadth of experience across the sectors has given him an insight few others are able to offer.
