Cunnane Town Planning provides particular expertise in housing, retail and leisure, with the experience, knowledge and professionalism required to assemble and manage the consultant teams needed for large-scale applications and appeals and to promote land through LDFs. Projects include large scale mixed use urban centres, housing schemes for national companies, major sporting and entertainment venues and employment uses.
In addition to work on major projects, the Practice offers a wealth of experience in successfully promoting development proposals for small to medium development sites, including housing, places of worship, Class A uses and showmen's sites. We work nationally but particularly across London and the home counties and throughout the South East, the North West and Yorkshire regions. We also provide detailed, incisive, commercially oriented site appraisals and searches for development land at competitive rates.
For appeals, we provide an experienced expert witness service and can brief counsel direct or offer in-house advocacy. Most work is for private sector clients, but we provide a reliable, cost effective local authority service on a contract or 'one-off' basis (fixed fees negotiable). The Practice is retained by several authorities for appeals and has an extensive case load history.
We offer Urban Design and Landscape Architecture services in partnership with our 'sister' company, Cunnane Stratton Reynolds Ltd (see separate entry).
