The Company

Cassidy + Ashton is a Town Planning and Environmental Consultancy based in Preston, Chester and now with a new office in North Wales. It forms part of the well respected and long established Cassidy & Ashton Group and offers specialist consultancy advice in the fields of town planning, masterplanning and environmental assessment, in addition to architecture and building surveying.

The Company has extensive experience of the full range of town planning and environmental issues that prevail in today's economic climate. Accordingly, Cassidy + Ashton is able to offer a service that meets the needs of developers, landowners, companies and private individuals whilst respecting and taking account of planning policy, the environment and sustainable development. Where required, clients can also benefit from in-house architects and building surveyors, providing a one stop-service.

Specialist Skills

Cassidy + Ashton is able to advise on all matters relating to town planning, masterplanning and environmental issues. In particular the Company has built up specialist skills in major residential developments, complex mixed use development and environmental assessment along with the other services typically provided by town planning consultants including planning applications and appeals, development plan advice, site appraisals, retail impact assessment and heritage assessment.

Experience

The Company offers a wide range of experience in planning and environmental matters.

Currently, we are progressing a total of some 4,000 residential dwellings over a number of different sites ranging from a 1,400 dwelling urban extension in Lancashire which has been nominated as one of the Government's Healthy New Town Projects large affordable housing led schemes.

The Company has also obtained planning permission for the UK's first combined solar and gas management generating facility.

Complex applications are a speciality of Cassidy and Ashton and planning permission has recently been obtained through a hybrid application for a major business park in the north west.

Geography is no limit with current projects ranging from Hampshire to Scotland and from Suffolk to Anglesey. London projects are a particular specialty with several projects generally on the go at any one time.
