General Services

The consultancy offers a wide range of planning services and transportation advice to both the private and public sectors. The client base includes Local Authorities, private sector developers, retail specialists, land owners, public/private partnerships, Chambers of Commerce and a wide range of small business, householders, agricultural clients, residents and community groups and Parishes. The consultancy also has close links with other consultancies to provide Environmental Impact Assessments, Sustainability Appraisals and Retail Impact Assessments.

Recent projects include:
Refurbishment and enlargement of holiday village, provision of student accomodation in Exeter, 4ha commercial development site St Austell, 2ha holiday park associated with existing tourist facility Newquay, 14.5ha mixed greenfield development won on appeal.
Residential development of an ex-MOD fuel tank site including the provision of a 7ha site for nature conservation.
Local Develoment Framework and housing completion monitoring throughout the South West for a range of clients.
Local Plan and LDF representations on behalf of a wide range of clients.
Agricultural diversification developments.
Preparation of Development Briefs and Master Plans for residential and mixed use developments in conjunction with other consulatancies as appropriate
Planing Appeals via Inquiry, Written Representation and Informal Hearing.
Preparation of Planning Appraisal reports prior to purchase of a range of sites and buildings.
Submission and management of planning applications.

Members of the Consultancy have an active role in the RTPI at a Regional and National level and also a range of regional forums
