We believe that the intelligent application of our comprehensive planning, environmental assessment, consultation and consenting skills can be applied to a wide variety of projects of every scale and complexity, whatever the land use or the speciality.
We have a particular expertise in major infrastructure projects and are currently involved in some of the largest and most complex proposals in the UK. Often essential, these projects are nonetheless frequently controversial. In addition to planning permission, many of them require specialist forms of consent, for example, under the Transport and Works Act 1992, the Harbours Act 1964 and the Habitats Regulations 2010.
Our experience covers most land uses and environmental issues, including commercial and residential, ports and harbours, wastewater and water resources, minerals and waste, renewable energy, roads and rail schemes. We offer advice and lead on the generation of proposals, reviewing options, stakeholder consultation and environmental impact assessment.
Our highly qualified and committed team has a wealth of experience gained in both the public and private sectors. We have detailed knowledge of the planning and legislative processes at all levels of government and assist local planning authorities with the preparation of DPDs and SPDs and facilitate stakeholder involvement. We review EIAs and carry out SEAs and sustainability appraisals. Senior members of staff are experienced expert witnesses.
