Following fifteen years in Local Government John Daldry joined the private sector and has subsequently operated as a Chartered Town Planning Consultant for over thirty-five years. He established a practice of professional and associated staff, and successfully practised for many years. In recent years the practice has operated on a reduced scale working with other planning associates and disciplines from other professions. The practice has a close working relationship with Michael Aves, a solicitor who specialises in town and country planning matters and with architects and surveyors who provide, when necessary, their expertise. This method of operation enable clients to obtain the personal attention of John Daldry, or his associate, in matters relevant to their particular case. The practice handles a full range of projects. It has conceived and assisted in the promotion of large scale development proposals resulting in major Local Plan Representations as well as the general town and county planning advice sought by a variety of clients. The practice undertakes Planning Applications, Certificate of Lawfulness Applications and when necessary associated appeals. It also deals with Enforcement Appeals. The practice prepares Structure Plan and Local Plan submissions for residential, industrial and commercial proposals. The practice is involved in a wide range of agricultural and horticultural development proposals, and works with other experts in the agricultural and horticultural fields. The John Daldry Partnership is therefore a general planning and development consultancy which operates mostly in the South East of England, and in particular Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk and North London. Clients are ensured of a personal and professional service supported by many years of experience in both the public and private sectors.
