Planning Perspectives LLP is part of The Perspectives Group LLP. We provide independent planning and development consultancy advice, principally to the private sector including a wide range of landowners, developers, investors and occupiers, but also to public sector clients. One of our key strengths is our ability to ‘go the extra mile’ to provide creative and pragmatic strategic advice to help unlock the potential of difficult sites, and maximise the value for our clients.
Since we were established in 1997, we have built a strong track record of working on complex, mixed-use, regeneration and development projects. For example, we have secured planning permission for a number of high profile retail, office, commercial leisure and residentially-led developments over recent years, including:
over one million sq ft of retail floorspace – including major shopping centre extensions and redevelopments, superstores and retail warehouse permissions;
the comprehensive regeneration of the former GSK HQ site in Brentford on behalf of Barratt Homes;
Brighton One, the exciting, award winning, sustainable residential development by Crest Nicholson and BioRegional Quintain;
a major 3,500 housing renewal scheme in Lambeth for The Metropolitan Housing Trust;
a number of Home Delivery Warehouses for a major foodstore operator;
Pfizer's HQ building at Walton Heath and Stanhope Plc's Peoplebuilding business park at Hemel Hempstead;
an anchor foodstore, cinema and restaurant uses on the edge of Leigh Town Centre in Wigan Borough; and
a mixed use retail and residential scheme in Hayle, Cornwall.
In addition, we are advising National Grid on numerous projects including on its major regeneration schemes at Beckton, Enfield and the Isle of Grain (where we have also advised Grain LNG on its liquid natural gas importation facility). We have acted for Blue NG on its renewable energy projects and are also providing planning advice on the education and health care sectors.
Our sister company - Strategic Perspectives LLP – was established in 2008 and provides strategic (evidence-based) retail, leisure, town centre and economic development consultancy advice to our public sector clients, including Warwick, St Albans, Great Yarmouth, Hackney, Hillingdon and West Devon Councils.
