The practice, based in South Hampshire, provides a comprehensive planning service throughout southern England. The practice seeks to resolve planning and development problems effectively and efficiently. Appraisals are undertaken of sites especially in terms of their sustainability.

From initial advice through to planning permission and compliance with conditions the practice will address all stages of the planning process. This work includes co-ordinating other professional disciplines to ensure that all aspects of a project are addressed.

The practice undertakes a wide range of work involving planning applications, Local Development Frameworks, planning enforcement, certificates of lawfulness, site appraisals, development briefs and design and access statements. Our work includes appeals by written representation, by hearing or by public inquiry and we will instruct barristers under the Direct Access arrangements.

The practice is involved in a wide range of matters from residential schemes and changes of use to the re-use of agricultural buildings and farm diversification. We are experienced in the re-use of Listed Buildings and buildings within Conservation Areas. We have been involved in a range of enabling development schemes to facilitate restoration of Listed Buildings.

The client base of the practice is extensive ranging from multi-national companies to the individual landowners. Our client base includes national house builders, local house builders, Bewley Homes Plc, Barratt Homes, Wilson Designer Homes Ltd, Wilson House Developments Ltd, Ibex Land and Property Ltd, Mapledean Developments Ltd, Keydell Nursery and Rookesbury Estate.

The practice also carries out work for Local Planning Authorities, including S78 and enforcement appeals. We have previously worked for Guildford Borough Council, Eastleigh Borough Council and East Hampshire District Council.
