Geoff Douglass, the founder of Pelham Planning Associates Ltd, is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute with over 25 years experience of working within the public and private sector. He joined Guildford Borough Council as a town planner in 1991 having previously worked as an estate agent in the residential, industrial and commercial sectors and as a surveyor in local authority housing. During his time in local government he worked as a team leader where he dealt with the larger residential, conservation (listed buildings and conservation areas), commercial, rural and agricultural developments.

With extensive experience, the practice specialises in residential, conservation (listed buildings and conservation areas), commercial, rural and agricultural developments in both urban and rural areas in relation to a range of different development types. Projects include housing, commercial, industrial in both urban and rural contexts; town centre retail; rural development and agricultural diversification; domestic development; and environmental assessment.

Over the course of many years, Geoff has forged good relationships with a number of Architects and other related professionals/specialists with whom he works closely on a regular basis and on a number of varied projects. The quality of his work and the level of personal service that Geoff provides have been praised by many of his clients and has lead to repeat business.
