The practice offers comprehensive advice on all development matters including, site appraisals, negotiations, applications, appeals, and strategic issues based on extensive knowledge of national and local planning policies and procedures.
The aim of the practice is to provide a high quality professional town planning consultancy to our clients regardless of the nature of the task or the size of the instruction.
To ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our service all case work is dealt with directly by nominated Partners who each have over 20 years experience in both local government, private practice and planning education. This ensures that we are readily accessible to our clients. It also maintains our professional fees at an extremely competitive and affordable level.
The consultancy has built up a substantial client base both in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire and in other parts of the U.K.. The Partners regularly advise and act for a number of land and property agents on a wide range of planning and development issues. Our clients have included National and International businesses, renewable energy generating companies (including wind power, anearobic digestion and straw burning), house building companies, and Local Planning Authorities in Yorkshire, as well as private individuals.
In addition to their consultancy work, all three Partners in the practice have experience in the design and presentation of training courses on behalf of the Royal Town Planning Institute delivered through The Planning Cooperative, a sister practice of which David Hickling is a Director.
