Doug Cramond has over twenty five years of planning experience gained in a wide range of public and private sector positions often at Department Head orDirector level.

He has an ability to resolve complex problems at the strategic tier while having expert knowledge of detailed planning legislation and case law.

The practice promotes development via the development plan, application and appeal processes. It is highly regarded for co-ordination of multi-disciplinary teams, EIA supervision and planning input and project mamagement generally.

Doug Cramond understands the commercial realities of development and is skilled at negotiating approvals and the terms of planning obligations which run alongside these. In the lead up to these approvals the appropriate environmental and design material has been expertly produced and, where possible, the groundwork is laid by shaping and influencing relevant emerging planning policy.
