Examples of recent projects

Project and asset management - adding value through enhanced planning consents for major pensions funds including, Standard Life, Threadneedle, Prudential, CBREi and Henderson Global.
Infrastructure and energy - acting for Peel Holdings, Indigo negotiated consent for Port Salford, a multi model freight interchange comprising 154,000m² of rail linked warehousing and significant infrastructure including a rail link. Wind farm and renewable schemes including Sillfield and Clackton, providing expert witness on planning policy in support of appeal proposals for wind farms. Retail - Secured many planning and other consents for major retailers including Sainsbury’s (retained in two regions) and Lidl. Employment - Retained by National Grid Property Holdings to advise on their landholdings across the north of England. Obtained permission for new divisional headquarters for Humberside Police Authority and retail park in Huddersfield. Consent secured for a 280,000m² employment park at Goole in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Mixed use - promoted a successful application for mixed use in Weymouth anchored by HQ building for the Royal Yacht Association and including over 20,000sqm of commercial development. Promoted a successful application for the reorganization of airside facilities and mixed use on surplus airport land at Plymouth including circa 400 residential units and offices. Pembury Hospital, Tunbridge Wells (new general hospital for Laing O'Rourke); Tunbridge Wells Council/John Laing (URV regenerate a number of town centres); Residential - strategic housing projects in Ribble Valley, Stafford and East Cheshire (CEG); Clapham Park Estate (redevelopment of existing housing estate for Peabody Trust); Millendreath, Cornwall (new tourist resort for Espalier); Kingston Power Station (350 flats and hotel for NHP).
